LSR7 implements two-hour delayed start for Wednesday, January 29

Because of snowy conditions, LSR7 Schools has decided to implement a two-hour delayed start for Wednesday, January 29, 2020.

Please recall that the school district does not recognize late-start Wednesday when it enacts a two-hour delayed start.

That means that your child’s school day will begin two hours later than their school building’s regular Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday start time. Here’s a chart to help you know what to do: http://lsr7.org/wp-content/uploads/Delayed-Start-2-Hour-9.23.19.pdf

Buses will pick up students two hours later than the regular pickup times. Car riders may be dropped off in accordance with school procedures two hours later than the normal school day.

There is no Summit Rise on Wednesday two-hour delayed start days. Before and After School Services will provide care from 7 a.m. until school start time, only for students enrolled in BASS and for a nominal fee.

There are no morning sessions for Great Beginnings Early Education Center, Summit Technology Academy, Herndon Career Center, Cass Career Center and Metropolitan Community College.

Thank you, stay safe, and we’ll see you soon.
